Bright Moments Wellness

The focus at Bright Moments Wellness is to provide alternative healthcare choices that effectively meet the individual needs of our clients. This is not intended as a substitute for medical treatment but as a complimentary approach for regaining or maintaining a healthy, happy and energetic life!

Lois graduated valedictorian from Somerset School of Massage Therapy and is nationally certified (NCMBT). The knowledge base acquired over many years, allows her sessions to be more than a basic massage, but instead are results oriented. Her sessions are unique in that she follows the client’s priorities while working with the “whole” person (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) by integrating her in-depth training in Eastern healing arts with Western techniques. Lois studied aromatherapy and now creates all of her own massage oils.

Lois, as a certified instructor of Mantak Chia’s Universal Healing Tao, embodies the Healing Tao philosophy, meditation and qigong practices in her own life. To better understand the healing role of diet, she became a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrated Nutrition. Lois counsels people to better health and vitality through adopting a lifestyle of healthy eating, qigong practices and positive lifestyle choices.

During the summer of 2004, Lois, a former rower, realized one of her life’s dreams. She went to the Olympics in Athens, Greece. As a member of the Athens Health Services Sports Massage Team, she took care of athletes from all countries. She continues to feel greatly rewarded helping athletes of all levels to improve their performance, rehabilitate from injury and realize their dreams.

Music and sound has always been a part of Lois’ life. She has played flute since the age of 12 and utilized sound frequencies during her healing journey.  Since 2009, Lois has been immersed in learning and practicing the healing art of sacred sound. She became a certified sound practitioner by the New York Open Center’s Sound and Music Institute. She has also studied intensively with Mitch Nur, Don Conreaux, Don Campbell, John Beaulieu and other leading sound healers.

In 2011, Lois travelled with Zacciah Blackburn and Q’ero Shamans to Peru and Bolivia to experience Indigenous healing sound practices. During the summer of 2013, Lois took a 3 month sabbatical across Canada and the USA to deepen her spiritual practice and rejuvenate. She connected with healers and elders of the Ojibwa, Lakota, Apache, Hopi, Navajo and Pueblo Nations to participate in ceremonies, healings  and teachings. She met with Native American flute makers to deepen her playing skills of the Native American flute. Lois has also studied with Michael Taylor to become a Wind of Great Spirit Healing practitioner. She weaves her Indigenous teachings into her sessions, Sound Journeys and workshops.

Lois’ fascination with how the body heals, connection to spirit and her passion for achieving positive results takes her into many new worlds of wellness. She has studied healing modalities and philosophies worldwide. She continues to passionately share her experiences with others through a private practice based in Princeton, New Jersey and travels giving workshops and Sound Journeys.
